Who I am & what I believe:
Born in Mumbai in ’73, given away at just 10 days old to St. Joseph’s Home, and adopted at 6 months my journey began with separation. I grew up in Bilthoven, New York and Amersfoort, but after a childhood shaped by severe ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences), I made a decision at 13 years old that changed everything. I left my parental home and never looked back. Healing wasn’t a straight path. It took decades to navigate, and if I’m honest, it will always be a work in progress but that’s the beauty of growth.
And today?
I stand +10 years strong with the love of my life, blessed with 3 incredible daughters, surrounded by caring friends aka my chosen family. And I’m the founder of JoE, where I channel my journey into empowering others. Because healing isn’t just about looking back: it’s about moving forward and creating impact.
Along the way, I came to believe that:
Empowerment isn’t a privilege, it’s a birthright waiting to be claimed. It doesn’t happen in isolation; it starts within, expands through connection and transforms entire communities. Vulnerability is strength. Sharing raw, unfiltered stories creates space for healing, courage, and collective change. When we uplift each other, we all rise because one voice can spark a movement.
JoE isn’t just a podcast. It’s a call to agency. A platform where stories ignite change and unheard voices fuel a global revolution of self-empowerment and social impact.

JoE’s Worldview:
The world doesn’t change from the top down it transforms from the inside out. Empowerment isn’t given; it’s claimed. When one person steps into their agency, they create a ripple effect that amplifies beyond themselves. Stories shape reality. Representation matters. Shared resilience fuels collective change. We rise by lifting each other and when we do, empowerment stops being the exception and becomes the norm.
Vision of JoE
Our vision is to build a global movement where self empowerment fuels collective impact. Every individual regardless of background, circumstance, or identity deserves the tools, community, and inspiration to step into their full potential.
